    Tell a story about what you know in your body, what you know in your bones. Share about a time you followed or ignored your gut. Does your body keep the score?* What do you know by heart, when did you follow your heart, or what did the literal physical ache in your chest teach you about a broken heart? Share a story about knowing something with every fiber of your body.

  • Labor

    A Story Circle

    Friday, September 19, 6:30-8:30 pm

    In honor of Labor Day, share a story about your labor: paid or unpaid; gainful or painful. Unemployed, underemployed, or overemployed; part-time, full-time, or all-the-time. Emotional labor, manual labor, invisible labor, or child labor. Tell us about being in labor, your labor of love, or your just-to-pay-the-rent labor. Recount the time you participated in a medical study in exchange for money, quit your job to save your soul, lied your way into your fantasy position, or did the dishes yet AGAIN. What is your story about domestic labor, farm labor, forced labor, organized labor, or your dream labor? Workers unite to tell their tales!

Cost

I don’t want cost to be a barrier for anyone’s participation, and so you can pay whatever you are able, no questions asked!

AND this is what I am doing to make a living. I very appreciate your support. My suggested rate for participation is $60/session. I put a lot of time and energy into preparing and running every gathering, and I bring years of experience to facilitating meaningful conversations.

֍ Anything you pay above $60 will go directly to supporting the participation of someone who cannot afford the full cost. ֍
