Theme Description: Spring is upon us; spring cleaning, spring break, springing forward. And while spring is a season of renewal, warmth, and growth, it is also characterized by wild fluctuations, storminess, and the struggles of new growth. Tell us the story about the time you got a fresh start or how you sprung into action in a crisis. Tell us about how you tried everything in your power to help someone bloom or how you continue to plant seeds with a challenging loved one. Share the story about mistakes made when you were still a bit green, or about realizing you were no longer a spring chicken. Tell us a story about the whiplash you experienced from rapidly changing realities, or about how you started to bloom, only to experience a hard freeze. Tell us about a time when you took stock of what was, or cleaned out what wasn’t needed, so that you could imagine what could be. Recount the tale of your ill-advised spring break choices or feeling renewed by a spring break trip. What is sprouting for you this spring?
Story Circles include 6-8 people who gather and share stories on a common theme from their own lives. Collectively, the group explores what can be learned from the stories together that would be harder to understand from any particular story alone.
